• Leaders don’t gossip about teammates, they help bring everyone together
• If you gossip, you’ll lose the trust and credibility of your teammates
• Be positive when talking with/about teammates

3. Be Consistent

• You can’t just choose when you want to lead, you have to be consistent (leadership is a mindset)
• Act like a leader in every training session and game, not just when you feel like it
• If you are consistent, you will grow in confidence and your teammates will trust you

 4. Put The TEAM First

• Leaders put the team first, not themselves. They have a ‘WE before ME’ mindset
• Play unselfishly; trust your teammates and they will respect and return your faith in them
• When you help your teammates, you are also helping yourself. Leading and teaching is the best way to grow and improve
